We need someone to take the timing gear down and back for the weekend.

We can't make it Saturday, so it's a one day for us at max :(

Murray I can pick up on Wednesday or Thursday PM. Can you email me address and time? Paul

SASC Events / Re: How does SASC define novice eligibility?

G man is correct I started with the SoloPro school in May 2015 and did almost every SASC and CSCC event that year and again did the same thing last year.
I asked at the beginning of last year whether I was still a rookie and was told to check that box. I agree with the other for what it's worth, 20 or so events would equate to 2 years of driving IMO. Paul

Hey Keith, Like the members above Kyle is my guy as well, as a matter of fact there is some leftover GT-R stuff of mine in his shop that may be of interest to you. Paul

Yes Reijo I thought about that after I posted. At the schools you,Tim and Jeff have all told me you are not supposed to hit cones. I think I have a condition,
hopefully it can be cured but in the mean time I AM the CONE KING. All cleaned up now, ready for 3 days in Nisku.P

Mine is booked with Rainer for next Tuesday, marks came off the paintwork OK with RRR but much more difficult on the OEM protection in front of the rear wheel wells. P.

Interesting thing about coarse maps, when I went to the SCCA event on Oahu at Aloha Stadium I asked for one and they laughed.
Apparently they stopped handing maps out some years ago and the only way to learn the coarse is to walk it and memorize it.
Different ways of doing things over there as well. PaulT

I'm with you on that Matt, after Reijo's dissertation not sure how one couldn't attend except maybe when a forty year anniversary somehow got in the way and no I'm not talking birthday. Somebody changed the date this year.
I've gone the last two years and found it to be the best learning/ driving experience ever. Hope you all have a great school but try not to soak up too much, hard enough trying to keep up last year.

I picked up the GT-R from Dilawri Collision Centre today and it looks like it did in July '12 when I first got it thanks to Jason and his crew. Paintless dent repair and a hood and a polish...makes me want to rethink changing it out, but as they say, everything is for sale, any takers out there? ha-ha I did see a set of slightly used Blizzaks on Kijiii that would fit...decisions decisions.
Happy New Year everyone! P.

You all know that this is gibberish to me, As far as the parts go Tom, I'm thinking again about selling and try something else next year. If that doesn't work out then yes I,ll come calling. As far as Cam goes, Pax for him should be using only one hand (and possibly a blindfold). P

SASC Events / Re: Results for October 30, 2016 event at YYC
« on: October 30, 2016, 05:28:45 PM »
Thanks Murray for posting the results and to Reijo and the rest of the volunteers today. Was the date really October 30th today? We've seen colder days in Fort MacLeod in July. Don't know if anybody noticed but I'm not classing myself as a rookie anymore since the season really ended on October 2nd. Time to run with the big boys now and try to improve to get to that level. Always a work in progress trying to find that little bit extra. There is still a short between the seat and the steering wheel. P

I agree, I don't think you were off course however I did call in 3 cones, inside (right) 1 on the last wall before and the 2 on the left of the pinturn. Because I was so slow reseting them I was in your way on the way back and thought you should have gotten a rerun simply because you didn't run me over. I called it in but it may have been missed. You did really well on that pinturn later though. P.
