Solo-Pro School This Year?
« on: January 29, 2016, 12:22:56 PM »
Interest is building, a few people have asked me about this now

Any tentative dates & school formats set yet?

We just submitted dates to the Town of Fort Macleod a couple of weeks ago.

The Town has their Council meeting on Feb. 8 (if I recall correctly ... 1st week of Feb. anyway) when they will review our dates etc. so until we hear back from them, we cannot publish anything.

However the SoloPro Schools are "tentatively" scheduled for June 11/12 ... a bit later than usual and I have not run the dates by Tim Aro so they are not firm by any means.

As soon as I hear back I will post on this forum.  :)

Tentative dates are a good start for now - thanks.  Hope to hear from Ft. Macleod fairly promptly on the race days for the rest of the season.

Is it another joint SASC/CSCC championship this year?

Yes, it is planned to be a joint championship with CSCC again this year.

I passed on the dates to Chris (CSCC Solo Director) last week so he can start to plan his dates.

the problem with CSCC is that the Westerner does not set their dates until a bit later so we decided to set the dates for Fort Macleod first and he will work around them ... plus other key dates like the Packwood Tour/Pro, Lincoln Spring Nats, Cdn. Nats (July 29-31) in Quebec, and, of course, the SCCA Nationals in the 1st week of September (like usual ... Pro Finale starts right at the end of August btw).
