Yes - these dates will make 2-day events possible for June, July, and September dates. We will be releasing details in a few days as we just received notice from the town of Fort Macleod on Friday.
Many thanks to Reijo and Wayne for all your help getting this done for our Lethbridge Club.
We are also hosting the event at Street Machine Weekend on July 9th in Lethbridge.

This is great news!!
Do we know costs?
Do we need to buy a membership?

Any WCMA affiliated club membership is accepted among the other WCMA clubs (e.g. ASA, CSCC, LSCC, SASC, RDSCC, etc).
They will probably release entry costs soon ... although I did hear something around $50 somewhere ... but I don't think that was official.

We are meeting on Tuesday to finalize the details of the event. Reijo has covered the rest. Same rules and regulations as a regular SASC event.

I plan on being there, but I want a ride in that Volvo again if you'd be so kind.

Craig, I'll be down on Saturday AM to lend a hand if you need it. Paul

OK - here are the details,
We're not set up on MotorsportsReg.com just yet, but will be for our next event. So it's cash only and $50 for the day. We're trying to dust off all the equipment and make sure things work this week - but we expect full timing at the event. Site is open at 7 AM and we hope to be racing by 9:30 - 10 AM. We're not expecting a large group, but if people want to prove me wrong...it would be appreciated as we resurrect the local club :D.
We'll have a quick tech inspection of all cars and will help newcomers with classing their cars.
There is a strict 93 db limit for noise. We have worked with SASC to ensure that we are keeping the locals happy and enjoying an excellent venue (and what is proving to be one of the only).

The sound regs seem to be working (much to my surprise I have to add ... although not entirely surprising I suppose).
Did you know that for the first time since we started running at FM, that we did not have a single noise complaint or otherwise last year? Yep, you heard right. Not one single noise complaint!
93 db. works!

Just as a heads up - the LSCC event this weekend currently has 3 cars running. It's only Tuesday and the online registration doesn't close until Friday, but seriously...3 people ???.
-
Tim and I will be there ... just haven't signed up .... almost got to it last night.

Considering it. Most likely will be there. The FM drive and stay over prompts for more preparation.
