For those of you thinking about tires for this year season.
Just picked up my RE-71R Bridgestones from Costco.
Order online, then pick up a week or so later at the Costco of your choice.
No one can touch their pricing.

Their product availability is expanding too - used to be more limited by common sizes or 'mainstream' tires.

But I have had multiple issues with their tire mounting people.  I had to get my truck's tires rebalanced due to bad vibration at highway speeds.  Costco does this for free but nothing changed.  Took to Tunerworks in the end and it's fine now.  Similarly the Supra's wheels had to go elsewhere after Costco claimed they couldn't get the valve stems to seal.  So buyer-beware on the install portion IMO.

KalTire has helped me a few times over the years but for being a large chain I don't think their pricing is very good.

By my experience, they also won't mount non-OEM sizes.

I'd also recommend you check out Country Tire off of Edmonton Trail. They have always matched or even beat Costco's pricing in my experience, especially on Michelin and Bridgestone tires.

Steve Vany at Kal Tire 20 Ave NE will match Costco pricing.

I believe Kyle Ho can also get RE-71R's at Costco pricing... guess who has the better mounting machine.

Spec R motorsports is going a special for the RE71r tire. They are going to match costco pricing for the Re71r as well.

I would definetly recommend checking them out. I get all of my tire business done through him. His customer service is always exceptional. He is always flexible for booking me in, and he always gets me in and out very quickly. Kyle has some very nice equipment, and he works on some pretty exotic stuff too. He can do anything.

They actually just launched a website recently. If you google Spec R Motorsports, you will see a link you their website on the listing on the right hand side.

I went with spec r , price was really similar and do far communication and customer service has been top notch. My 265/35-18 re71's have arrived and I get them mounted to my rims Saturday! Then all I have to do is figure out how to fit them to my car ;)

Just an FYI for anyone who's interested.  Looks like Costco has a bunch of RE-71R sizes in stock again.
