OEM Subaru Cross bars - compatible with a 2009 STi.  I think that means most Impreza models.  Happy to test fit if you're not sure.

The bike in the photos has 29" wheels,  it is lockable, and pretty quick to get on and off.

There's a "ski boot" style clasp that secures the rear tire.

I have all the hardware and keys for the cross bars and the bike rack.

$200 OBO

I am going to miss this car but it's time.

2nd owner,  I bought it with 10k kms on it in 2009,  garaged ever since.

Upgrades:
- hella horns
- sway bars (Kartboy)
- 3m protection (incl hatch exit)

otherwise stock.

It's only seen synthetic oil, and I've done those roughly every 2000-2500kms, so with the low mileage, way more than I needed to.

Recent work:
- Brakes / Control arms
- Plugs
- Power Steering Pump
- AC compressor
- Timing Belt
- new front bumper cover ~ 4years ago.

Compression test recently shows strong on all 4.  One was slightly low but still within range.   Serviced at Vex, but recent work at Lakeview.

Also available
- Winters:  stock STi rims, not in great shape, have Hakka R3's bought in the fall of 2022.
- Summers: tires EOL - clean gunmetal underneath the bronze plasti-dipped as pictured.
- Also have a subaru roof rack with a bike rack that I could include.

Last week's conditions were pretty awesome.  It's set up to be a great day!

Just clarifying the "pre-req's" are the same as the training days..

and to make up for it - I could come help set up the night before or 6am and get updated on anything new, or to learn any conventions in teaching you want us to follow.. if that helps!

Ah!  I missed this post.   I had a lot of fun last year teaching.. would love to help teach again this year!

If you need another despite missing the instructor training let me know.

Hey cfyung85,

Yes - 8am at the Days Inn.  There will be some instructors there a bit earlier ~7:45 if you end up there early.

There isn't really a good spot to watch the events in most cases.  Sometimes we're out in the middle of the lake, sometimes by the island - but it depends on conditions on the lake for that day that determines where we set up.  Reijo might have a thought here.

You'll have enough fun on the lake and learn enough that we're confident you'll end up convincing your friend to come another day :)

I can't remember how it works with two drivers and one vehicle.   I'm pretty sure this was handled last year but I'm not sure how it works here.

Is it a single entry fee and one car - giving half the seat time per student?  Or is it still a full fee where we try to give the two driver cars as much seat time as the one driver cars?
