Can someone pickup the timing gear and radios between 5-6pm today (in the SW)?

Richard, I can probably swing by.

Send me your address and we'll figure it out from there.

Thanks,
Reijo

If you  have not signed up for Saturday yet, please make sure you do or let me know in any case so that we have final numbers.

There are only 7 signed up on MSReg so a full day is probably not feasible but we could maybe rent the facility for the afternoon only at a more reasonable cost ... but we would split the expenses so the club does not lose money.

Let me know!

We'll deal with Sunday after that ...

Thanks!

Incidentally from 1-5 pm tomorrow/Saturday, with 12 people would be about $50 each ... a good deal for so few people.   Let me know or just sign up on MSReg

We are a GO for Saturday!   We have 11 people as of about 6 pm and that is enough for a 1-5 pm event.

We'll be setting up at 11 am ... come early, help out, and get started sooner!  There will be a lot of seat time ... more than a day's worth easily!   :)

We need some more people for Sunday, Oct. 21 ... so if you are thinking about it, you have time until tomorrow evening to sign up ...

The course is similar to last time - great fun including a 40% copy of an Istanbul F1 track triple apex corner (that is also used at Badlands) but there are a few interesting but subtle changes (to make it better, of course!).

I'm not sure why 11 people is enough to hold a half-day event on Saturday, but 26 isn't enough to hold a full-day event on Sunday. If that's really the case, why don't we fail over to a half-day event on Sunday instead of cancelling it altogether?

P.S. -- Don't know how others feel, and I don't care since I have yet to drive it, but I imagine using fundamentally similar courses for three events in a row might lessen the appeal for some people.

Because Budget gave us a good discount .... otherwise they don't rent it either.      Win-win.

Yes.   I think if we kick in $5 or so each extra. the club will break even ... that is the worst case.

But for this many people, we should do the event.   We'll make it work somehow.    :)

Signed up for Sunday in the Japanese Race Truck.  Never got out this year due to busy personal life, looking forward to it!

Have asked a friend to come as well - if he does sign up we'd both need to be tech'd but should have no issue passing.  He would need a loaner helmet.

Same question as last week -- if anyone's interested in a codriver/coach/data comparison (I'll bring my SoloStorm along) on Sunday, let me know!

^^^
This again. :) Dave and I had a good time driving together last week, and we both learned some lessons poring through the data afterwards. Anyone else interested in having someone to compare against on Sunday?

Turns out I can't make it Sunday. :(

Who is designing the course for Sunday?  And, no, I really do not want another variation on last Sunday's course.

Unless someone volunteers, moi.

And, no, I was not planning another variation of this course.  It will be a new one ... maybe totally new ... just did some preliminary sketches ... I'm thinking a sweeper course with a slalom to finish off ... instead of a slalom at the very beginning.  Also less overlap so we can get more runs and slightly shorter as a consequence.  That's all my thoughts for now.      :)
