Jo and I had a good time at the event. Well run, and a nice venue with long courses (91 seconds was FTD on Sunday).
The road course section is a hoot with its elevation changes, but it isn't friendly to people who go off -- some nasty edges and ditches. It rained on Saturday, and a lot of cars went off. Luckily, only 2 cars were damaged (one went into a fence and did some minor body damage, one broke a muffler loose from its mooring).
We plan on going to the next event on June 13/14.

June 13/14 is in Helena too?

Yep. There is an event in Great Falls on June 7, and then a 2 day event in Helena on June 13/14.
BTW -- some solid competition at the Helena event. I paxed 2nd on Saturday, but only 7th on Sunday. There were three of us with S2000s having a great battle. On CR in AS and one AP2 in BS. Saturday's course favoured my AP1 gearing, while Sunday was all in favor of the AP2s.
I am bringing the good tires to the next events :)

There is a real "hole" in the events in late May and into late June ... almost a month so other events a bit further away are some to consider in order to just get some seat time in!

Video of my 2nd run. Lots of shifting (and other) errors, but I didn't get my best runs on video: https://youtu.be/PBbqgLR6aFI

Wow. That seems like real good fun. The grassy run offs are not as smooth as they look?

In some places, just fine. In others, 8+ inch drop offs. And some pretty deep ditches in some areas. You *really* do not want to go off sideways,

BTW -- I didn't mean to make it sound bad. It is definitely a hoot, especially when going around that back sweeper on the side of the hill. Any danger is really up to the driver -- I drove pretty aggressively without getting into my "fear factor". And I am definietly a wimp :)
