FYI, the 2016 ASN/FiA Canada Solosport (autox) regulations and rules etc can be found here:

Also, it's nice to see the new ASN Canada FIA website is looking pretty good. The old one was so badly in need of an update. I think the refresh makes it a lot easier to use and find what you're looking for.

Hey folks,
I have never posted on this forum before, but I was out all last year at the Red Deer events and a few of the Calgary events. I haven't made it down to a Fort McLeod one yet but am planning to this year. I have been running in BS with my 2003 M3, but after reading the rules it looks like I should have been in FS is this right? It just seems strange because the E30/E36 are in CS and I would have thought that the E46 would have been higher class if not the same but 2  classes lower seems wrong. Anyway some sage advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

You are correct that it is in FS. The E46/E90 are both in FS as unbelievable as it is (Ran my E90 M3 in FS last year during Canadian Nationals). I believe it could be due to the weight of the cars (>3300 lbs) vs.  the E30/E36 which are under 3300 lbs.
