We are hoping to save time and do more of the course set-up on Friday night ... specifically 5:30 pm and after.
Sun is down around 7:30 pm so it won't be long and we'll finish the setup Saturday morning like normal if necessary.
Anyway, Wayne, Ryan and I will be at the YYC ... pick up the cones from the storage nearby and then set as many cones as we can before the sun goes down ....
We could use maybe 2-3 or so people to help out to make it happen faster and more efficiently.
Anyone available to help out? Address is 220 Airport Trail - the former Park 'n Jet lot ... access via 22nd St. NE from the north.
Thanks!

I can help. Should I show up at the autocross lot or the storage facility at 5:30 pm tomorrow?

Thanks! Let's meet at the autox lot on 220 Airport Trail since not everyone knows where the storage is. Maybe I'll pick up some cones and drop them off during the day when I pick up the gate key so that there will be something to do when we get there. And then some can go to the storage to get the rest of the cones etc.

Shall I bring a Bob Cat and snow shovel

At the lot now.....no snow....just wet. To decide if we run.
-
With the forecast now being 1 with freezing drizzle I'd be fine with cancelling the event :(

Depends what forecast you are looking at. I was at the lot and it stopped snowing over an hour ago ... slope on the lot should ensure insignificant ponding etc. ... and I was hitting dry patches on Stoney Trail on my way home.
I have seen 5 different forecasts now since this morning.
This I have found to be the best... also hourly:

Naturally Calgary is a large city area-wise and with over 1000' of elevation change. In the NW there is more snow on the ground than at the airport where I observed the snow melting in the grass unlike the NW ... so a definite difference in 22 km. driving distance.
We have run in similar or worse conditions in the past. :)
