Hi everyone, I've decided to step down from my position as Treasurer for the 2024 season. In my place, I've nominated Patrick as new Treasurer. Patrick has been a dedicated member of the club, with consistent attendance and valuable support in running events. If anyone else would like to run against Patrick please feel free to do so. We will have an official vote at the AGM this Saturday.

I plan to continue my position as Novice Coordinator, but happy to relinquish that role as well if anyone else is interested.

Time is almost up to get the discounted early bird rate for  Canadian nationals. Register before August 1st to  get the discounted rate of $160 for the weekend, otherwise price goes up to $200.

Announcements / Airdrie Sound Limit Increase

🚨Sound Limit Increase Update!🚨

After speaking with the venue, we are excited to announce that we are increasing the sound limit at the Airdrie Air Park! The new sound limit will be 98.0 dB for modified exhausts, or unlimited if your exhaust is stock.

This change is effective immediately, so if you've been holding out on coming out due to worries about being turned away, we would love to have you back!

The upcoming Airdrie events are:
- July 16
- August 13
- August 26/27 (nationals)

All events are live on MSreg, so sign up today!

Note: changes are just for Airdrie, Fort Macleod will continue to have a 92.9 dB limit.

SASC Events / 2023 Canadian Nationals Championship

Mark your calendars, the SASC has officially been approved to host the 2023 Canadian National Autocross Championship!

The event will take place at the Airdrie Airpark, on August 26th and 27th. Located on Township Road 270 in Airdrie, AB just 20 minutes north of Calgary, this venue features a  1 mile long and 100 feet wide runway plus an approach and apron, allowing a wide range of course design features.

Overnight camping onsite will be permitted, and we will have porta potties and water available. We will also be hosting an informal get together and awards ceremony, stay tuned for more details on that.

If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to reply here or message me directly.

Hi everyone,

Just putting in my formal notice that I plan to run for Treasurer again for the 2023 season, which will make it my third year in the role. That said, if anyone else would like to take on the role you are more than welcome to put your name forward. The position consists mainly of making payments to our venues, insurance providers, and suppliers, as well as maintaining the club's leger and budget, and preparing the annual financial statements.

For those that don't know me, I am Dallin B., aka the guy with the Alfa Romeo 4C. Next year will be my sixth year of autocrossing, and I have also taken on the role of Novice Coordinator which I plan to continue next year (unless anyone else would like to give it a try!).

Hope to see everyone at the AGM later this year!

It's just about time to book our 2022 AGM, likely located at the Grey Eagle Casino again. When you get a moment, could you vote on a preferred date? We would like to have the venue booked by the second week of October, so if everyone could cast their vote before Sunday October 9th that would be fantastic!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that I plan to run for Treasurer again for the 2022 season. I started this role at the beginning of this season, and am happy to continue next year if there are no objections. For those that don't know me, I am Dallin B., owner of the bright blue Lotus Evora. Next year will be my fifth year of autocrossing, and I have also taken on the role of Novice Coordinator which I plan to continue next year (unless anyone else would like to give it a try!).
