$80 for non-member walk-in registrations. :o
I'm sure someone did the math and determined that that's how much we needed to charge, but ouch -- that's a lot of money. It'll be interesting to see how many people choose that option.
(Yes, I understand part of the idea is to encourage people to register before event day.)
-
I hope nobody chooses that option -- on site check-in for 100 people is bad enough already.
-
Even for members it is $20 more to just walk in ... much cheaper to register on-line for everyone. We were getting a lot of people just walking in at YYC ... paying on-site ... be nice to significantly reduce that.
I added a "special note" that it costs $20 extra in RED right on the front page on MSReg to help ensure people do not miss it. I don't believe we want the extra cash so much as have people register and pay on-line.
Some people may not have credit cards, or they may be full or whatever, but you can buy a VISA, Mastercard at a Safeway, Sobeys, and I think even Mac/7-11 stores (?) etc. and use one of them which is also cheaper than paying on-site. It just stops us handling a bunch of money on-site which would be better.

What class should a ae92 corolla on coil overs stock everything else be?
-
The coil-overs put you into SP (look up which one .. .maybe FSP) or SM or STS (look up which ST class in the rules noted elsewhere).
Look up here:

Assuming it's a North American market car, you're in Street Touring Sport (STS).
-
thanks. cya guys there! STS it is.

Is there a reason why SS isnt on the class list?
Only see SSR

Nothing resembles a new phenomena more than a mistake. I'll check it ... probably unchecked in the list of classes ... try again in a minute or two.

OK ... that was weird. The class had been removed. No idea why that was done ... ??? Anyway it is back.

Stil dont see it..

Stil dont see it..
Hmmm......showed up in the preview. Odd. ... I'll check now (6:27 pm).
Damn! My error! :) I added the class but did not check the box to include it as an option ... go figure. Anyway, it should work now!

Thanks, now the class shows up but I cant select the correct group. Just gets stuck at "choose group" rather than being able to select "all street classes"
-
I snuck in and fixed that. Besides adding the group and making it selectable, we must also map the class to a group. Done now.
-
Ugh...hahaha.....thanks Murray!

That is just the full date: April 16, 2017. One day event on Sunday ... we don't have events on Mondays unless it happens to be a long weekend, we might at some time, but no Mondays this year.

The weather forecast isn't looking too great...
https://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/weather/alberta/calgary
For those who have already registered, will we have the option to put our money towards a future event in the case that it's too cold/icy?
-
If the event is cancelled, your money is good for a future event.
Note that we only cancel for unsafe conditions (e.g. ice or accumulated snow). So be sure to dress for cold and/or wet conditions -- you don't want to have a bad day because you under-dressed.
-
Environment Canada says +8C and sunny ... not too bad??? ... for this time of year. But, really, until a day or two before you can't really trust the weather forecasts here since we are so close to the mountains = quickly variable weather.

Good point there Murray. It will be cool ... as in near-freezing or possibly slightly below first thing in the morning so it would be wise to dress accordingly ... and even feeling colder if it is windy at all. The sun is currently rising before 7 am so the warming will happen fairly quickly and all the pavement etc. will be exposed to the sun well before we are running .... so more than likely we'll be ok.

Is there an online waiver for the drivers and spectators I can print? Just figured I would save some time in the am
-
No. We sign the general waiver on-site on paper. It doesn't take long.
