Don't hold your breath.  That letter got a "Thank you for you input".  Just like the letters asking to move the AP1 to CS.

Uh, no.

Maybe in a few years when nobody can find parts for their MR2s :)

they gradually work their way up through the Fasttrack, starting with 'other letters reviewed' followed by 'recommended items for 2017' and finally if approved by the SCCA BOD they get applied to the rules.  Basically Fastrack is Solo Event Boards way of keeping people informed of where they are leaning rules wise so people can comment and the Board of Directors has the final say.

Some rules or car classing may change right away but they will say so.

Otherwise the proposed rules/changes are put out for comment.

If approved by the SEB/BOD then they go into force for Jan. 1 of the following year (2017 is next).  Actually if you look at the last sentence of the 1st sentence of the Fastrack, you will see it says that.

Ooh - the Neon S/T and ACR are moving to STF, those are a bit hard to find around here but the change might make things more interesting!

I keep reading hoping to see an I-street and J-street class invented so my focus can be more competitive :)
