Any time I ship stuff that's big, heavy and/or expensive I get it shipped to one of the two shipping outlets in Montana. I figure I saved myslelf a few bucks over the years . It makes the most sense if you're buying a lot of stuff and/or have some friends also doing the same thing at the same time.
You'll have to pay the warehouse fee ($2-20 depending on size & weight) plus 5% GST plus gas to get there and back. I'll be doing another trip before spring. 560

Should I add a poll to this thread to see if people are OK with allowing sub 200 UTQG tires provided same make/model this year is rated at 200 or above?

Member Introductions / Tom - Intro« on: December 08, 2014, 09:48:36 AM »
I've been autocrossing for 5 years, first couple years in a 2009 Cobalt SS-Turbo in STX and the last few years in a very underprepared 2010 Corvette Grand Sport in SS and now SSP. I’ve also dabbled a bit in Track Days and Solo-1 (Time Attack) for roughly the same amount of time, though the lack of venues within close proximity puts a damper on that for me.
On the winter side of things I’ve been involved with the Winter Driving Schools for about 5 years (first couple years as a student and then eventually became an instructor). I’d like to get more involved in Rallycross and maybe Ice Cup but at the moment don’t have a suitable winter vehicle. This is my first year on the SASC Executive Committee and I’m looking forward to becoming more involved with the club. Tom |
