Title: June 11/12 New event during SoloPro Schools
Post by: Reijo on June 02, 2016, 11:56:00 PM
We are having to cut down the SoloPro Schools a bit (well, the Intro only) to 12 max. each....due to crossing the border issues.

Anyway, Tom mentioned he'd be willing to teach a separate school at the airport on Sat.

Is there interest here (need instructors also btw) in attending?  We could also do another school and/or practice on Sunday at the west end of the airstrip.

Insurance, porta-potties etc. are all paid for already so it would mean just setting up some cones at the far west end of the runway and going for it.

Want some more seat time?  This could be a good opportunity.

Let me know here ... to gauge interest firstly and then PM or email or call me if you would like to help out instructing (Saturday at least).

Thanks,

I'm pretty sure I could make it out for a test and tune on Saturday afternoon.  I'll be driving in from Wpg - so can't make the morning for sure.  I really could use a test and tune before Sunday.

Wpg?  Jeff, of course, is from there and will be teaching with us.

But, no problem, you know where we are ... we'll shuffle you by when you get there.  We will be doing lunch on-site for the SoloPro School - likely Subway like usual.  I suppose others can fend for themselves .. .plenty of places to go in town.

I'm just there next week for work (driving the Volvo there and back) ...when you get a chance for a burger from Mrs Mike's, you take it!  Thanks!

Here's the entry for the practice/school at the west end of the airport on Saturday, June 11/16.

This will take place at the same time as the SoloPro Intro School but at the west end and will feature a full-sized course.

Thanks Tom for making the practices happen! I wasn't able to come Saturday, but the Sunday courses were fun and everyone had a good time.
