If you aren't doing anything, the National level Corvette club solo is taking place this weekend at YYC. Might be interesting to spectate for a bit.
If I can get over there today I might help them set up the course: They are using a variation of my Packwood Tour course from last year.

Is it closed registration or open to anyone/any make?

Will this be both Saturday and Sunday?

. I believe you have to be a Corvette Club member afaik.
Doug Campbell was there setting up also.....maybe should ask him? I'll see if I can get a hold of him....but it is the National Championship.....no passenger apparently.

Looks like the slalom is Sunday only. Doesn't seem to say members only but no registration on-site though....

Info is here http://bishop.ab.ca/cccc/CU2017BrochureReg4.pdf
Looks like autox on Sunday only? It also says it's just a regular autocross in their series ,but it is in conjunction with the CCCC Annual Convention.
Typically the CCCC events have a couple drivers at the really point end, but the competition overall isn't much different than your local events. They tend to like more point and shoot style courses and have their own version of classing. Also some of them think sound limits are only a suggestion ::)
Edit - too slow ;D

In this case they used a variation of my Packwood Tour course from last year but took out a bunch of cone walls and other pointers etc. So it is a valid autox course this time. :)

National level with no ride-alongs? Wow, sounds serious for the Corvette club.
