Hi Reijo, Do you have dates for the 2019 winter driving school yet?
Thanks! Alicja

Hi,
Thinking the first one will be Sunday, Dec. 30. There is also a date in January for the BMW winter driving school but that's it thus far (just met with them yesterday).
So things are coming up. Stay tuned!

Hi, great, thanks.
Where are the driving schools held now? I understand Ghost Reservoir is out due to Enmax not allowing anyone on the ice.

The winter driver training is now held at the YYC/Budget (former Park 'n Jet lot - they moved directly south across Airport Trail NE now) which is located on the north side of the Calgary International Airport. This is a lot more convenient, no snow drifts, nice clean bathrooms and lots of places nearby for lunch etc. I think, personally, that the site is far superior to the lake. The address is 2020 Airport Trail NE so you can look it up on Bing or Google or whatever mapping. Note that the access is from the north from 100th Avenue NE and then south on 22nd St NE. I have attached a map to this message. Take a look at it. The hotels are nearby - 2 km to Wynham Gardens (Airport) and right next door for the Hampton's Inn - where we have one hour classroom in the morning. I will also send out a map and other info for all the participants a day or two before the event.
