Time to bump this. I could justify ownership of this car when I was coming to events. I haven't had the ability to do that so far this year, and other obligations are stacking up fast.

$17,800.

I've pulled the SSC specific vinyl off already, and plan to finish returning to stock before I list it to the masses later this month.

Cam is top of the entire field! #1/190. That’s a big deal... and Ryan will be right there with him if he can drop a cone.

Much impress.

Also Jared in SSC!

Not unexpected that some of us need a few runs to sort new cars and rust out.

Except for Cam.

Cam is fine.

bump.

The car almost took FTD at the last event. Now it's sitting in the garage and hiding from gravel and snow like it has every winter.

Interesting tidbit:  Although weather changes between run groups, Cam ran a second faster than the Vancouver Special!!!

And Cam wasn't in anything close to dry, so I wonder how bad it was for AM.

I'm looking to move into something bigger... i.e. a fun sedan or five door.

2015 Scion FR-S
Currently SSC prepared (all stock parts are available)
-Tire Rack kit
-Enkei TS10 wheels
-ARP studs and 5mm spacers
-EBC Yellow pads

Factory 3M and Oil fill rust protection
Original owner. No claims. 3 keys. All documentation and original parts available.
~24,500km

The car is in great shape, garage kept and never winter driven. I enjoy the car a lot at solo, but that isn't enough to justify my ownership anymore.

$Sold

General Discussion / Re: Lower Profile Helmet?
« on: April 26, 2018, 11:12:26 AM »
All jokes.

My approach is generally to squish my body into the smallest space possible with the hopes of teaching it to reverse grow. Wedging my spine between the base of the seat and the roof of the FRS, and then driving at speed through the rolling surface of that YYC lot has done wonders for my stature.

Its also why I hang out in airplane bathrooms so much... especially when the seat belt sign is on!

Hopefully all this pain will eventually net me some seat time in a Lotus Elise!

I appreciate this thread.

Sunroofs are pure evil... but GM IMO is the worst offender for head room of any manufacturer. I fit more comfortably in a Ferrari 458 than I do a Cadillac ATS.

Foamectomy on the seat? I always foamectomy my helmets. Grab some scissors and cut the padding out of the top of the dome. Not saying cut the actual structure of the helmet, just the padding that is there for comfort.

You could also wear a tonsure?

Thanks for getting the times up quickly Murray. PAXed pretty much where I expected for an SSC car, hopefully a few more join us (Q?) soon.

Looking forward to it. Car was snowed in. Spent my time digging the car out instead.
