Looks like the Reddit RockAuto forum always has current codes: https://www.reddit.com/r/RockAuto/

I just used 215705215155353114 from there and it worked.

People keep crashing into or stealing stuff from our work vans, so I'm ordering a lot of stuff from Rock Auto recently.  >:(

EDIT: SOLD!

For sale: Four 275/35R-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires. Used for one weekend, then my car was destroyed in a shop fire.

SC3s wear like iron. Two of the tires have 7/32" of tread left, and two have 6/32" of tread left. For reference, they're supposed to have 8/32" of tread when new.

I paid $1,064 USD ($1,337 CAD at today's exchange rate) new in June, plus $265 USD ($333 CAD) in shipping, taxes, and duties. Yours for $800.

Text at for oh three, nine wun nine, three wun for ate (I'm not illiterate, just trying to keep my number from being farmed :) ) if interested. Thanks!

SASC Events / Re: Scores for June 27, 2021 event at Airdrie

Great pair of events -- no major hiccups, fun courses, and it was great to see everyone again. Thanks to everyone who helped organize!

Did anyone happen to find a pair of thin black, blue, and green/yellow gloves? I took them off sometime during or after the morning session, then couldn't find them.

I hate to rain on Jay's parade, but the XS-A index is 0.846, whereas in our results it's showing as 0.838.

Friendly suggestion: announce event registration on the SASC Facebook group as well. I have no data to support this, but I imagine ten times as many people browse the Facebook group as read this forum.

For members only registration, you could post on the Facebook group saying "members-only registration is open earlier; see the members-only section of the forum for more details" or something like that.

FYI, if you go to Motorsportreg.com and search for autocross events within 300 km of Calgary, these events don't show up.

Not quite the same thing, but Castrol Raceway in Edmonton is saying that it got permission for "automobile racing":

Calling track days racing is a pet peeve of mine, but whatever. :P

Technical Talk / Re: SCCA Rules, regs and Car Classifications
« on: April 12, 2021, 11:35:42 PM »
Not every car in every class can be equally competitive. Unfortunately, your car isn't one of the top ES cars. No matter what you do to your car, it's not going to keep up with a top-flight ES car that's equally well driven.

I think you're focusing on the wrong thing anyway. The top ES Miata is the '99 Sport, which comes with 15" wheels, not 16s (and which is almost always run with 15s at the top levels of the sport as far as I'm aware, even though upsizing to 16s is legal).

It's actually far more common for people to go down an inch in wheel diameter for lighter weight, better tire size availability (at least for 20" through 17" wheels), and sometimes better gearing.

Independent of anyone's opinion on the seriousness of COVID or the validity of AHS's restrictions, I submit that it's a bad idea to openly discuss intentionally circumventing the restrictions on a public forum.

What differences will there be between the April 24 test and tune and the April 25 practice event, if any?
