Good deal for someone that wants to get into sim racing. I haven't used my setup much recently, and have started to part out my setup. I'll be back again eventually, but I plan on upgrading anyways before winter.

- 3x Dell 23" monitors. Nothing special, older commercial grade business monitors that display in 1080, and response rate of 5-8ms? 60hz refresh rate. DVI inputs, but I have DVI-Display Port Adapters I may be able to throw into the deal if needed.
- Adjustable triple monitor stand custom made out of 3/4" MDF. Arms can move and pivot, and it can move up and down.

Sim rig/wheel setup no longer available. Seat for sale in separate ad, please view my other ads.

I also have a gaming tower for sale that will run racing games without any issues, and more for $600. (https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1431786633)

$200 for the monitor and stand setup. Please text 4038693012 only. Thanks

Automotive Marketplace / LF: 255-265/35/18 Take Offs
« on: July 20, 2018, 02:28:37 PM »
Anyone have any takeoffs that might have some life left in them? Looking for a full set of four.

May consider a lightly used set as well for extra $$$.

255/35/18, 265/35/18, or 255/40/18 can do...  maybe 275/35/18...

PM is key, thanks!

General Discussion / 17x7.5, would you rather a 225/45, or 245/40?
« on: April 17, 2018, 08:05:21 AM »
At a crossroads in choosing a tire size, and I'm unsure what size tire would be best.

I don't have much experience driving on wide tires crammed onto narrow wheels, but can anyone share their experience? Strictly for auto cross use of course.

The car is FWD, and oem size is 225/45/17. I guess 235/40 is an option, but I'd rather try a wider 245/40 if I m going bigger.

Is the extra width actually worth a few more seconds at our local venues? I know driving feel may go down the drain, but is it worth the tradeoff?

Looking for pairs of any of the following sizes:

245/40/18
255/35/18
275/35/18
285/35/18

Looking for pairs that I can use for test fitting some wheels. Not quite sure what will fit best on my car, so any condition, garbage or otherwise, summer/UHP or all season will do.

Thanks!

« on: September 19, 2017, 06:39:07 PM »
LF a staggered set of 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 takeoffs if anyone has something that I could burn up at the last event?

Anything close to those sizes should work! Thanks!

Looks like the RDSCC has part of their schedule up. Didn't see any postings on here, thought it would be worth sharing...

EDIT: Looks like it has changed quite a  bit. Probably better to check the link above.

Technical Talk / Classing - Aero Kit in STX
« on: July 08, 2015, 10:14:26 PM »
I just realized that I have some aero accents added to my car that may actually put me out of STX. I added the front/side/rear/trunk lips way before I had the intentions of Autocrossing the car.

Im sure it doesnt really make a big difference, and Im sure nobody really cares at local events... But with regionals/nationals does it matter? Its not like they're functional pieces that add more downforce...

I have a replica kit of the TRD front, side, rear, and trunk lips installed.

These pieces are not available in an OEM US/CDN catalog. However, they are offered as additions in the TRD Japan catalog as offered through Toyota AFAIK, and are available for order at most Toyota/Scion dealerships so long as they are willing/try hard to order the pieces in.

With that in mind, am I really out of STX and supposed to be in SM? Will anyone care at regionals/nationals if I class in STX? Its not like im hiding a blower/have other illegal performance mods.

But! Scion NA did introduce the FRS RS1.0 (Release series) this year, which does sport a similar TRD body kit. With that in mind, is there any leeway in that regard?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
