A week ago I suggested an urgent meeting of representatives from the 3 clubs, RDSCC, CSCC, SASC, to discuss how lots are found and how effective PR is done to ensure that the lots we have we keep. Is this being actioned. or was it not thought necessary.

Can we use the same course on the next test and tune? I suggest that for test and tune to be effective we need to run the same course then we can measure the changes we are making to our cars.

As I understand it I can fit any tyre on my stock rim, is that correct ? The size It like to go to is a 235 x 40 17 up from a 205 x 45 17 this increases the tyre foot print and very slightly increases the overall diameter from 24.3 to 24.4 is this legal in CS ?

Had the new RE 71 R fitted yesterday. Noticed immediately that they are a lot more sticky than the stock rock hard tyres, they pick up rocks just like an A6, on the road a little noisier and defiantly harder. Sway bar and Carbo-Tech pads go on today, Koni's go on at the weekend.

Enjoyed my weekend, learnt a lot about my driving and a lot about the new 2015 MX5. The stock tires on this car are crap, they overheat rapidly and then become very greasy. Even though the tires are dreadful I came away far more impressed with the car than i did the driver. Hopefully the car issues will be resolved once the Koni adjustable shocks, front sway bar and uprated pads are fitted, as for the driver only time will tell. Does anybody have any info on where I can buy some RE71 R, Tire rack have them but the $ exchange is dreadful, all the local tire shops can't supply, HELP.
