Fastest autox course I have ever run (3rd gear for 80% of the course): https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Q160VzrBMKa5z1Jj2uFt2oEfjsQRJSJzI DNF'ed twice due to my OEM brakes not being up to the task of dropping my speed enough I am not a fan of higher speed autox courses -- more danger with little (or negative) reward.

So, both Jo and I are going to Fort Macleod on Saturday, which means that we don't have room for the timing equipment in our Miata.
We need a volunteer to pick up the equipment at our place, take it to Fort Macleod for Saturday, and return it to our place afterwards.

So, our existing router and netbook and web server system appears to be less than fully reliable. And, note, this appears to only apply to IPhone users. Android users are happy campers as far as I can see.
This is an area where I am *completely* out of my depth and/or comfort zone. So, if this is going to get better, I need some serious expertise and help from you guys.
What we have now: Small web server app (written by me) running on the timing netbook. Router running dd-wrt to support DNSMASQ service. This allows you to browse to "scores.com" instead of "192.168.1.111" (actual value).
I do not have internet/cloud access from the netbook, so please don't suggest that unless you have some idea how the club can do this for a reasonable price and location availability.
So, where do we go? \ just don't know how to go forward from here.

Spent the money and got some custom valved double adjustable Konis. I'll need some help learning how to twiddle that extra dial (compression settings). And probably spend all year figuring out a good setup for the car

Please suggest any good units for the club to buy. We need about 20 radios, so let's leave out the $200+ units if at all possible.

Sera mentioned something today that caught my attention. As it stands with the scoring software, she can choose to run in Ladies or Open, but not both. This does seem like a barrier that should be removed.
What if I add multiple (say 3?) group fields in registration as opposed to our current one. That way, a single driver can belong to (and compete in) more than a single group. As a side effect of this change, I would remove rookie as a separate hard-coded flag and just use one of the groups to designate rookie or veteran.
So, let's say 3 groups:
1st group is for street/street touring/CAM/whatever 2nd group would be for rookie or veteran (or even a 1-2 year rookie) 3rd group would allow designations such as Ladies or "Serious bzness" or "Corvette Club"
Sound like an acceptable enhancement? Or does this just confuse our scoring system more than it already stands?
