Good call, this is my philosophy as well.  It's got the same fun-factor regardless of what class you're in.

Lexus IS300 - bulletproof 3L NA straight 6, very nice, spacious interior for the size and age of car, and can be had for well under 10K these days.

I appreciate this change!  Helps me in a number of areas - mainly the Rookie SP overalls.  Should gain a position in the two RAW overalls as well.

Aside from missing out in the afternoon, I had a good time for my first Fort Macleod event.  Here is a relatively leisurely stroll through the cones - I'd appreciate any pointers from the experienced crowd.  Seemed to be taking a very wide line through the taxiway sweeper for no reason.

This is my first year too, and I have a truck, so there is a good chance he'll beat me at least if that helps leverage him in to coming.  Would be fun to not be the only new person.

Be sure that your truck is legal to race (height less than track width).

We have lots of first timers out every year, so don't worry about being the only new people there.

10-4, cleared it with Stuart from CSCC already.  Good to know there are other new people.

Solo School: May 30/31
FMC #2 - June 20/21
FMC #3 - July 25/26
Nationals - Aug 22/23
FMC #4 - Sept 19/20
FMC #5 - Oct 3/4

All of these are at the Ft. McLeod airport.
