Montana Challenge in Helena

Fastest autox course I have ever run (3rd gear for 80% of the course):

I DNF'ed twice due to my OEM brakes not being up to the task of dropping my speed enough :(

I am not a fan of higher speed autox courses -- more danger with little (or negative) reward.

Heck of a long course to remember.  When was the last time you DNF'd in Alberta?  Keeping you on your toes Murray!  I should get down there one of these days when my to-do list is shorter.

I DNF'ed at the Last Fort Macleod event -- a very complex sea of cones element sequence.

The Helena DNFs were due to the OEM brake pads inability to grab hard enough at those speeds.  No ABS, just not enough brake to get into the slalom.  Braked earlier on subsequent runs, and new racing pads are now on order :)

What pads did you order Murray? Sticking with the oem rotors?

The rules do not allow me to change rotors.  Trying EBC Redstuff pads on the recommendation of a good autoxer in Helena (he beat me by 5 raw time seconds and 3 PAX seconds on Sunday.  In a 1988 Honda CRX).
