For those confirmed, here's the directions from Fred this morning:

Here are directions:

Take Hwy #1 west to exit 169 (Calaway Park)

North to 4 way stop  (Church on corner)

West to Springbank airport

Take second entrance to  airport (west side) and make an immediate right

Drive to the mailboxes  and wait there, someone will meet you at 6:30 pm sharp!

I'm looking forward to showing you the cars,

You are welcome guys!  I heard lots of positive comments during the evening ... it is quite a collection and if you have not seen these, do yourself a favour and go next time!  This is a private collection and is not open to the general public.  Fred even takes some of the cars to the track!  Yep, he has brought that 427 Ford-powered Lola (only one with a Ford engine) CAN-AM car to Race City and run it on the track!   Anyway, I did have something like 94 people express interest but everyone could not make it.  Considering that, I think maybe we should think about another visit to give the rest of you a chance to go and see this incredible collection of cars.  One interesting thing I noticed this time was that Fred has an awful lot of race cars in there!  Curious.

I think we had 53 people show up for the tour.  We aren't supposed to publish photos of the cars etc. .... but just one teaser photo from the 1st warehouse where we met.   :)

BTW, that IS an original 427 Cobra in the foreground ... not a kit car.
