Need some help
« on: August 16, 2016, 02:09:31 PM »
Is there anyone in the club willing to take home at least one (possibly all 4)of my rims from me Saturday at YYC and then drop it off at Alberta Wheel Repair during the following week at your convenience?

I found out I have a cracked spoke that I'd rather see repaired now that I've lost use of these for a while.

Hey Matt you can drop them at my house on your way by and I can deliver for you. Give me a call on my cell. BTW give Nick my regards as I'm at Castrol for three days this weekend. P.

I was wondering why those rims were in the back of your car ???

I live 10 minutes from AB wheel repair. If i knew beforehand I would have helped you out for sure!

No worries, I went there at lunch and looks like they can't repair spokes on that kind of rim without the heat treatment being a liability. I've gotten a little lucky and found a rim for sale that was missing center cap and valve stems for cheap(ish) so looks like I will be able to complete the set and be back on re71r's ASAP.
