WTB: 18x8 5/112 Wheels
« on: May 30, 2017, 04:02:06 PM »
Hey guys,
Im looking for a spare set of wheels for track use.
Wheels should be straight & should have no prior repairs/welds.
If you have them with RE-71R's I'll consider taking it with tires too.

Thanks

Good luck, my experience on Kijiji is that 5x112 is fairly rare (maybe a couple sets a month come up on my ongoing daily alert).  Are you fixed on getting 18's, there was a set of MB mono blocks on my alert this morning, can't remember if they were in Edmonton or Calgary though and were an aggressive fitment (+30).

Yeah Id say I'm pretty set on 18's.
The price difference in tires from 18-->19 is pretty vast & I really dont want to drop down to 17's.
I had a lead on a set in edmonton but with nobody available to go check them out & do the deal for me, I had to let it go.
You can say I have some commitment issues when it comes to dealing with Kijiji Randoms.

Oh, Also....
The 5x112 wheels I've found typically weigh a bit more than my OEM wheels.
