Driven 2018 Booth
« on: April 30, 2018, 02:19:45 PM »
Hi all!

Last year we entered a booth in Driven to drum up some interest for the club and we are thinking of doing the same for 2018.  This years show is Saturday, May 26th at the Olympic Oval.

We're seeing if there is any interest for individuals to volunteer on behalf of the club to give info, tell interested parties what we do, where we run, etc. We're looking for around 6 volunteers (2 people for 2 - 3 hour shifts) to be at the booth.

Can you please post here if you are interested/can make it?

Also if you are interested in displaying your car in the booth let us know as well in this thread.

  • If you aren't hitting any cones, try harder.

Sera and I can do a shift on Saturday too.

To clarify for others, the main Saturday show is from 1:00pm to 7:00pm (May 26), so three x 2 hour shifts. If you're volunteering your car, you would need to be available to meet before 6pm on Friday May 25 to arrive at the Oval as a group, and for setup between 6pm-10pm. Tear down and roll-out would be from 7pm-9pm on May 26.

For cars, it'd be nice to have a good variety to show people that you don't need a dedicated race car to autox!

I've shied away from entering Bianca in this show previously as she's not really a "build",  but I'll see what I have going on that weekend that I can go without her.

Jessica and Myself will be willing to also Take a shift.

We wouldn't be opposed to enter the FRS even though it certainly isn't one of the nicest cars that come out

Just wanted to bump this up.  There are nine days until the show,  and wondering if anything has been set out as far as a plan?

Just got roll-in details tonight... will be sending out emails soon. I think we're good for cars so we dont need Bianca.

I've got the printables, will hand off to Chris on Friday.
I cut 120 copies - think that'll be enough?
