Eek -- didn't see that.  Wayne -- could you please send an email to all the current registrants with this reminder?  And perhaps make a note on MSR to this effect.  If we have people missing for Sunday's event, check-in is going to be painful.

i'll do an audit after registration closes and manually sign up people for Sunday if they paid for both days and havent signed up for Sunday.

A full audit isn't really required.  I tested The MJTiming software will happily import Sunday's drivers and merge them with Saturday's.  At present, there are three drivers registered for Sunday only.

Upon reading the Saturday event that it is a 2 day event, I mistakenly assumed that registering for Saturday automatically keeps me in for Sunday. I meant to do Sunday as well.

If you paid for both days, then you are good for Sunday as well.

Attached find the initial 32 qualifiers for Sunday's 'FAT KAT' Challenge.
The final 16 qualifiers will be determined tomorrow morning.
All remaining entrants will be entered into the Consolation Challenge.

Remember... Consistency is key.
All entrants scratch times for the challenges will be determined by their RAW times on Sunday morning.
To ensure no one carries sand into the challenges, all cones will be removed from entrants times to determine their scratch times. Also... anyone breaking out (running faster than their scratch time) will have a new scratch time assigned with a 150% penalty factor, to their next round.

Huh, would you look at that, I've qualified, I thought for sure I was going to be playing in the consolation round.  So does Q32 mean that I was the last qualifier from the afternoon?

Awesome weekend!  Thanks to Wayne for organizing another fun successful Fat Kat Challenge.  Thanks also to Ryan and Ambrose for great course designs.

Well folks... it's another wrap... the 'FAT KAT' Challenge for 2018.
Many thanks to our sponsor Overtime Rentals for prize money again this year.
Miraculously we got the Final 3 runs in before the deluge.
Unfortunately we did not get to celebrate with an Awards Presentation.
Thanks to those who braved the rain and helped clean up.

Consistency, OK along with some sprinkling of sand, was the order of the day, if you wanted to advance in the challenge rounds

Group #1  Clara (#11) managed her sand pile nicely throughout the challenge and was into the Final 3 beating Jared (#43) by a slim 0.850 sec

Group #2  Scott (#711) benefited from a coned run by Jess (#92) to advance to the Final 3

Group #3  Doug (#411) managed his sand pile nicely through the challenge as well and was into the Final 3 beating myself (#180) by a scant 0.105 sec

FINAL 3 Shoot Out
All 3 final runs were clean with Doug taking home 3rd Place prize money ($100), Clara using a 0.297 sec advantage over Doug to take home ($300) 2nd Place prize money... and then there was Scott, mister consistent saving his 0.048 sec break out on his final run to take home 1st Place prize money ($500).

Congratulations Scott!! Good driving today.

The Consolation Challenge winner was Faniel (#700) taking home $100.

Thank you everyone who helped set this up, the course was very intimidating at first but lots of fun!

All in all a great way to spend the weekend.

Thanks for an amazing weekend team! I like the format that included a season event and the single day Fat Kat.

As an aside,  I misplaced a visor for my helmet in grid.  In case it was found,  i thought I'd mention it here.
