Any word on whether the October 14 YYC event is happening?

Last I heard there was a chance we'd still be able to use the lot. The long-term forecast looks very promising -- 8 degrees in Thursday, 9 on Friday, and 12 on Saturday.

So what's the word? Is the event happening, or are we done for the year?

I believe Reijo had said that we need to follow up with Budget one week prior, so pending a green light from them and the forecast holding true I don't see why we couldn't hold the event.

That's correct.   We have only a week's notice whether we will be able to host the remaining events and any winter schools to come.   The folks at Budget don't know any more than that at this time but said they would be vigilant with us.

Just got back from Fairmont so I'll contact them and find out if we are a go!   We have insurance etc. so once we have the "go" we are good.   

So, hang tight for a little bit and I'll find out!     

So far we haven't had a "normal" fall with the snow and all but usually fall is sunny and bright blue skies so chances are we will be good as long as Budget gives us the OK.
