Enclosed tire and tool trailer
« on: April 20, 2019, 04:08:46 PM »
Selling my old trusty autox ENCLOSED/LOCKING tire and tool trailer.

Very low and good handling - I have to look behind me sometimes to make sure it is still there ... hauled it with the stock engined '90 Miata and S2000 later.

Independent early Honda Accord suspension - custom-fabricated here in Calgary.  The other 2 were open but this is the only one that was enclosed in checker plate ... handy since you can carry 2 full sets of tires plus equipement/tool boxes, oil, etc. etc. ... lots of room.  Also very good since you can lock it up!

$300.

PM me.

Here's another photo showing how the front opens up.   The rear has a hatch also for good access.

I will maybe take another photo(s) later on when I get a chance ... can't seem to find others easily right now ... too many photos ... hahaha

Tires are low mileage and bearings packed with few km. since ... so ready to go!

Lids closed ... bolts sticking up are for another set of tires ...  Any size will fit on top!

As long as this is up it is available.

I don't expect to use it anymore so I might as well sell it to someone who needs it.

Sorry ... a bit slow getting back to this ... yes, in NW Calgary.

However, you are a bit late.  The new owner, Shannon, picked it up this morning.

Interesting fact, Shannon fabricated the frame of the trailer back in the day!    :)  He had one also but it was not an enclosed one.

An alternative might be one of the small trailers such as Harbour Freight (USA), Cdn. Tire and other outfits have.  Locals have then fabricated various devices to hold tires and such in place ... and attached boxes to them and they seemed to work well enough.
