Am I correct that helmets are not required for this driving school? I noticed on the self tech PDF the mention of helmet, but I suspect that may be only for racing events. Thanks.

We have not used them in the past for the schools but we'll wait and let Reijo confirm.

Perhaps I am blind, but where on SASC forum is a link to the current 2017 Schools? Id like to send some family out this year and would love to have a link to send them for registration.

Here is the link, still not sure why it was not posted, hard to get people to register if they are unfamiliar with our system and they don't have a handy dandy link to take them there.

Snowfall predicted for Saturday, isn't there already about 10 15cm on Ghost Lake now? Were gunna have to dig to find ice lol.  I predict lots of recoveries from being stuck in snow drifts 8)

Also, if you have ice grips for your shoes/boots dont forget to bring them.  Speaking of which I better start digging for mine, they are "somewhere" in the garage lol.

The presentation begins at 8 am sharp but I recommend coming at around 7:45 am so that you have time to sign the general waiver, get settled in, grab a coffee or tea, fill out the tech form (if not done beforehand ... which I would recommend), and just hang out and chew the fat for a bit before we "get" into it!

So, 7:45 am.

Cheers,

Reijo

Have the drivers packages (tech form , etc) been sent out for the school on Jan 15? - If so I have not received mine.

If I would like to register my 15 year old, can I register him as a "student"? I would be in car with him but not driving for the day.
