Quite a few 2 day events this year, so you can get in more racing for each trip south.

Any plans to go yourself?  I think you mentioned not being around much next season.  Trying to line up my summer vacation ideas - the Helena Top Gun fits the tail end of a road trip I am toying with.  Of course this assumes the Supra will have had a good shake-down by then.

Hoping to hit a few this year.  Unsure if I want to drive the S2000 there or trailer it though.

I will make it to a few, just not sure which ones.  I am retiring this coming spring, and Jo and I plan on a cross-Canada driving trip, autox-ing all the way out and back (of course!).  Basically, hit the Canadian Nationals in Montreal (July 29-31), probably Slemon in PEI, and some more wherever we can find them (Winnipeg, Minnesota, Ontario, NB).

So, a few Montana events will be in the plans for April and October.  They are some great people, and run some great events.  I really recommend you make it out to a few.

It's a nice drive in the S2000.  I can't imagine wanting to trailer our S2K.

I am more worried about potential reliability problems, but the S2000 isn't a great highway car either way unless its a twisty highway.

Best routing... south on Hwy 2 to Peigan/Carway boarder crossing, south on Hwy 89 to Choteau, south on Hwy 287 to Helena. Beats the I-15 drone.

Jo and I will be going to the opening event in Great Falls this coming weekend.  Anyone else planning on an early start to the season?

I would except Sunday is my father's 89th birthday and our granddaughter's 3rd birthday.
Enjoy and say high for me. I do plan a few Montana trips this season.

I'm going to try out a few Montana events this year but most likely the Helena events. Life is getting in the way of me getting my car prepared for the season. We should try and get a group together for Top Gun?

Sadly, we won't make it to Top Gun this year, since we are going to be somewhere on the east coast at that time of year.

You and Jo enjoy your 'Autocross Across Canada' road trip this summer.
My 'One Lap Around America' last May and June was very invigorating.

I know I wouldn't mind getting in a bit of seat time before everything gets going here but I'm not too sure about this weekend right now ... just a bit too much work on my plate to catch up on ... I'd be delinquent if I were to go ... not that that hasn't stopped me before!   :)

I seem to get hassled by the border guards every time I go down there... last time the guard was screaming at me "WHAT DID YOU GET ARRESTED FOR SIR" over and over. So I pretty much refuse to go to the US anymore

Can't you just leave an hour or two earlier than normal to account for being yelled at? :P
