Forgot to say Joe, and everyone, that your welcome to come for a ride. I believe during the off season it was discussed that it might be nice to try and open up more ride alongs amongst the club. I can't claim that I'd be a good teacher as I'm sure I have many bad habits already that shouldn't be copied ;D but you can take what ever you want from it.

I think all I'm good at is complaining about understeer plague of Subaru's but I guess once I have that one solved I'll have to move onto the next excuse!

Very good event yesterday! Shame about the weather though :-[

Nice that most of the people on the course managed to stay below 93db. I was worried the cyan miata might be over the limit.

It would be cool to find out what everybody's sound readings were at :D

You may have a couple bad habits, but your times speak for themselves :)

Seconded. I'd love to know how close I am to the limit before I put on my straight pipe. :)

We have recorded sound meter readings that we should scan and post here.  Good info to have.

Tom's black Corvette hit 92.9 db 3x in a row that I noted.  Zack was at 94 db in the Grey STi a couple of times and then hit 100 db on one run ... don't know about others.

My S2k uncapped, was typically 92.5-92.6-92.7 at San Diego ... but that is at sea level ... almost.

I think the weather was actually a good thing.  I needed practise in wet conditions -- badly :)

I am always happy to take passengers on my runs -- no need to feel bashful about asking.
