Yeah, but clear winner at what?  At Lincoln, I was asking people why they picked their tires.  The most frequent answer (for RS-3s) was "because of the contingency money".  Money talks :)

The new RE-71R has appeared on Tire Rack.  Prices look decent.

There's a rumour floating around that Hoosier might be coming out with a new 200 TW street tire .... first street tire for them I think....   :)
