Trailer for rent?
« on: July 24, 2017, 09:55:38 AM »
So it's starting to look like the Mustang has a problem with Fort Macleod. Parking lot troubleshooting leads me to believe it's the fuel pump this time, but I'm not certain enough to head back down there with a new pump and no backup plan. Does anyone in YYC have a trailer they would be willing to loan me for day? I'm tentatively thinking this Friday and will pay in $ or beer or whatever.

Jordan.

U-haul is pretty inexpensive. It's like $70 for 24 hours if they have one available.

Agree Uhaul is the way to go.  The one on Barlow in the NE is a main hub and tends to have a lot of stock.   The SE Blackfoot Tr. one is not bad either.

Thanks guys. Looked into it and they are cheaper than expected, about $55. Unlike the $700 fuel pump.

you'll need a winch to load up if the hooptie don't run.   That's the down side.

And a second guy to man the brakes just in case there's any slope opposite to the way you are winching (i.e. if you winch up onto the trailer, then the trailer is tilted towards your winching point once up on the trailer).
