Hello again. Me and my dad are in the silver 07 solstice gxp running this past season and after some brake problems this past season, we have narrowed the problem down to one corner of the car continually boiling the brake fluid so we assume that calliper isnt releasing all the way or something like that. We are wondering if we should replace it with stock brakes or if we should upgrade them all to ported rotors and brembo calipers or something equivalent? I guess the big question is if we did do something along those lines would that take us out of the stock class? what are the limits on brakes and their upgrades for the stock class. Thanks, appreciate any input.
gotta love the stealth, Ive got a 95 3000gt except it's a N/A fwd. Car actually did alright on the track considering it is bone stock and had more body roll than a cadillac and more understeer than a boat... still love those cars tho if you don't have a sway bar i would highly recommend one
Are you asking to use the same course for test and tune as for the competition?
i think he was suggesting for the next test and tune at the next weekend event we use the same course as was used this past weekend so in the case that any of us made changes to our cars or strategies/techniques we could easily compare how or if the changes have helped or hindered our performances. not a bad idea in my perspective but either way, racing is racing!
