Looking at the classifications I see some cars are not classed according to the 2017 classifications. I myself made a class mistake as the 986 02 Boxster has dropped from class BS to class CS. Check your car as the classification may have changed. https://www.scca.com/pages/solo-cars-and-rules

Is the SCCA classing the standard across western Canada and the US, or are clubs using other car classification standards?

Nice to hear from you Lurkasaurus! I was working sound station during the second run group. The only times the MR2 was hitting over 93 was when it was bouncing off the rev limiter and popping, that was loud. I think if you keep the engine off the red line the car is OK, but yeah, some sort of sound suppression would be helpful.

Looking forward to getting and early start to the driving season this weekend!
Have been to some autoX events in Red Deer and Time Attack at Castrol in Edmonton last couple years. Hoping to make up for last season's lack of events now that I have wheels again.
