Yesterday's course was definitely awesome! Funny how I felt like the morning version was easier than the afternoon for me.

Definitely wasn't going to make it to Tuesday's meeting, I'll try to email my thoughts on the YYC event to add to the file.
QR codes are easy - in Chrome there is a menu option under save and share that will generate one for you (with a dinosaur in the centre) for the current web page. Gets only slightly more complicated if you want to change the dinosaur to something else (like SASC's logo). 3

And I usually just put 'N/A' in as a place holder for the harness question.

Double check with someone on the exec about age limits for ride alongs - I can't remember the exact age but it has changed in the last couple of years.

Definitely loaner helmets available. At the busier Airdrie events it can be challenging to snag one with the number of first timers we see out. There is definitely a small and an x-small, my oldest has used both at Airdrie.

SASC Events / Re: 2023 overall scores updated to best 6 resdults« on: October 08, 2023, 08:38:32 AM »
Just to confirm - best 6 events counts towards overall scores (instead of 7?)
Something weird is going on with the individual class results (I don't show up for STS, same with Derrick in CAM-C), I suspect they are only showing the results for nationals. 13

Dallin is in as a rookie (which puts him as #8th on the Rookie side)

Technical Talk / Re: Modified car friendly out of province inspection« on: July 20, 2023, 02:15:26 PM »
You could see who Shannon used to get his Panoz inspected - basically an unregistered kit car in his case. Call him at Western Motorsports.
I have also used Cam a bunch, including an insurance inspection for our Miata when I switched providers a few years back. Whether the inspection process lets him be Mod friendly or not I can't answer, but he'll at least be able to give you some insights into trouble areas for your car. |
