Technical Talk / Any thoughts on the Trackwidth vs. Wheelbase ratio argument?

Figured if there was anywhere to ask this would be the place, the argument is 1.6:1 is the golden spot, seen both sides and not sure where to stand? I'm at 1.78:1 with probably close to 70% front weight. Not overly concerned but it's worth a topic 🤷

To start I have a 97' Civic hatch, 5spd B18b1 non-vtec swap, gsr transmission, 80mm rear rotor swap, with 260mm replacing the stock 240mm fronts soon. Most bits removed, resembles a empty bean can these days.

Haven't figured out what class yet but won't be racing until late this year, but ideally around all next year for the championship if I'm lucky. Would beat a 3 hour drive though.

Incase anyone's interested, Instagram is the same username - had my car for 3 years and most of the story is up there!
