While I agree the lot will eventually lost I don’t think things will as quickly as is being stated. This is likely a design build project and they haven’t hired anyone. Most of the work happening in the next 6-12 months is similar to green line work happening right now before the RFP, relocating major utilities and coordinating land purchases. They talk about land purchases in the article.

Why? Next summer Badlands is expected to have a track open, possibly the skid pad too.

We've been living on borrowed time for a while now - I was wondering why a developer hadn't snapped up the land.

Best start looking for an alternate location now, even though it could take a couple/few years for anything to change. Hopefully Badlands will be open by then! :)

Reijo should elaborate, but my understanding is that we've been told we'll be able to book YYC for at least the first part of next season.

We are able to book to the end of June ... booked some dates in June already ... stay tuned.
