E-waiver for people with no cell phone?
« on: April 15, 2022, 01:50:00 AM »
So, I hunted around at Hagerty and found their e-waiver page.  It looks like there is no mechanism for people with no cell phone (e.g. me).  Jo has a phone, but I have no idea if we can double up on waivers with just her phone.

Could someone ask them for clarification about this issue?

Thanks,
Murray

Murray, I'll double check for you - I think there is no issue doing both of your waivers on Jo's phone, you just end up with two confirmation texts on her phone.  Its all pretty new to the club so there will be some teething pains during the first couple of check-ins I'm sure.

I was using the Hagerty e-waiver over the winter for the AZ Solo events. I'm 99.99% sure you can do 2 waivers on the one phone. I did the e-waiver for myself twice, Hagerty's system didn't notice or care.

Just to add some clarity. When you do the e-waiver you, sign and take a pic of yourself, the system then sends you a text a with a link. At the event you click on the link and your waiver with pic shows up. I'm almost certain you could have unlimited waivers on one cell.
