Sound meter at upcoming practices?
« on: June 07, 2016, 09:12:00 PM »
Hey -- are there any plans to measure sound at any of the upcoming practices? I ask because I'm interested in trying a new exhaust but would prefer to not lose any series points if it's too loud. :)

I don't recall seeing a sound meter at last weekend's practice. I can see an argument for not having one since practices are more laid back. On the other hand, if the purpose of our sound limits is to stay in our neighbors' good graces, then I think we should have one at practices too since the neighbors don't care if it's a practice or a points event that's too loud. :)

Yes, we should have the sound meter for all events.  I had forgotten about this.  Who has the sound meter?  Can we arrange this?

Thanks!

I have the sound meter and can bring it with me to the SoloPro School on Sunday though Andrew did request that I return it directly to him.

Can somebody take a photo of the log and post the sound logs for Aug 7th when you get a chance. I think a lot of new people who came might be interested to see how loud their cars were
