Sept 17/18 - course designer needed
« on: August 30, 2016, 07:38:53 AM »
Who is interested in doing a course design?

I cannot make the Sept. 17/18 dates due to some work that has come up that conflicts with those days.

Anyway, I have autocad dwgs and pdfs of the course maps (most, if not all, of the ones we have run in Fort Macleod) for your reference and use.

I also have blank copies in pdf format (or jpeg etc) that can be used for design if wish to draw by hand.  All the maps are to-scale.

Let me know if you are interested!

Course Design booklet (2014) for reference from Roger Johnson/Texas:

I've read through the manual before (wow it is big) but was unable to attend last year's course design school so yielding to anyone who took part in that I'd like to give it a go.

Of course, I could review and give you more basic hints and such .... stuff I covered in the course.. ....  hmmm....might have some notes from the seminar.

Do you use autoCAD?

Here's some brief notes from the seminar .... Does not include everything I talked about but some good basic guidelines in there.

What year AutoCAD is the min. for the files you have? I have an older copy to dust off somewhere or I might have to rely on the JPEG.
