Set up and tear down teams on Saturday and Sunday YYC5
« on: October 26, 2016, 10:43:57 AM »
I`d like to have set up and tear down teams for YYC5 ... e.g. a worker position.  You will not have to work during the event this way unless you want to volunteer to help out.

Paul has already volunteered to help setup on Saturday afternoon (say 3:30-4 pm) so I could use a couple more I guess.....there may be some setup left for Sunday morning but likely not too much.  We also have to pick up the cones at the storage.

Public Storage:
Harvest Hills Blvd N/Country Hills Rd NW
90 Country Hills Landing NW, Calgary, AB T3K 5P3

And, then on Sunday after the event I could use 2-3 people to help pick up the cones and equipment and deliver to the storage (about 5 km. east of the site just off of Harvest Hills BLVD.).

Thanks,

Reijo

I can help with the Sunday afternoon pickup and at storage Reijo. I won't have room in my car though, too many tires :)

Great Brian!  The biggest task is just picking up the cones and then putting them in the storage from my truck or whatever we will be using.  The stacks can be heavy when you grab 10 or more at a time and awkward since they flex and move around.  However (btw, thanks for helping out last time at the end of the day!), with a few hands, the task is pretty quick and relatively painless.

Cheers,

Reijo

This would be perfect, I'm hoping to coax some friends out. Put me down for takedown and unloading to storage if you still need a body. Unfortunately I am tied up on Saturday though..

Thx Ryan!  That might be enough for tear down ... could use one more to help Saturday afternoon to bring cones (my truck) to the site and set up the course ... say 4 pm .... maybe 3:30 pm .... gets dark by 6 so .... will confirm that.

Paul and I will be meeting at the storage today at 3:30 PM  to pick up the cones and equipment. H is bringing his big SUV so there will be two vehicles to load up.

If we had, maybe say, a couple more people then we could set up cones very quickly as a couple of teams or even separately.

Thanks,

Reijo
