2019 SASC Event #1 - Cancelled

Early registration is available until Wednesday evening for our first event of the 2019 season in Fort MacLeod next weekend. Link is below. Weather is looking good in Fort MacLeod for next weekend for the first event.

We have been monitoring the forecast this past week and into the past few days the weather for Saturday continues to look worse and worse, including snow and highs of 6 degrees Celsius in Fort MacLeod with lower temperatures for the Calgary area.

Due to these poor conditions we have decided to cancel this event in the interests for both safety of the event and those that would be travelling both to and from it. Everyone that has registered already will have their fees refunded in full.

We are disappointed to have such beautiful weather this week to only see it degrade for our event. We have inquired about the possibility of rescheduling this event with Fort MacLeod, which is a possible, but it definitely will not be prior to our next event on May 26 in Fort MacLeod.

Due to the cancellation we have asked Fort MacLeod to book a new event on Sunday, September 22 to replace this one.

They have a 10 day circulation to the area residents, which shouldn't be a problem. Once I have confirmation from the Town I will update the schedule accordingly.
