2015 Packwood Pro - July 17-19

The Pro is this weekend and a bunch of our friends are running there!

Practice starts and a practice course are running today as well as registration and the competition starts tomorrow (Sat.) morning and continues to Sunday.

I don't think our contingent has anyone running in the first group. Wayne, Ryan, Cam, Jim, Andrew and I are in the second group. Jay and Ori in the third.

Jim (SS) is in 2nd.

Ryan Clark is in 1st after day 1.  Cam is about 0.5 behind the 2nd place guy ... (2 trophies).

Steven Hui is in 5th place in STS (driving a borrowed car) -0.2 sec. out of the last trophy spot.

Q is in 4th ... 0.5 out of the last trophy spot with Wayne 0.003 behind him!

Just heard on-line that Jay's vette had some diesel put in the gas tank ... and was smoking when he was just running it ... seemed to go ok ... and he jumped ahead of Duke Langley ... his arch - whatever from Seattle! 

Looks like Orieta did not get her afternoon runs in - probably because they were pumping the diesel fuel out of the tank ... put in by mistake.

Ryan just got past David DeRegt (SSM Lotus) by 0.1 in the Super Challenge ... doing good!

The video feed gave up the ghost and it appears that Ryan lost in the 2nd round ....  Never saw it.  Paul Brown (former owner of the blue MR2 that Ryan and Cam used to have) won the Super Challenge with his "newer" red MR2 (ES) ...

Only trophy presentation remains ... back to work.

I went up against Clements in the CMod car in the 2nd round and was trailing by .2 or something after one side. I had left it at the tree with a terrible .8 reaction time so I promptly red lit the other side (0.498) trying to make it up

Oooo.....that is barely a red light!   Ouch!  I guess that was Eric you went against ... I think Johnathan was running a FSAE car or something.

But, nevertheless, a good job getting that far!  Congrats!
