The event is only a week away and so far we only have 10 registered for June 4, and 12 for June 5.

Is there any difference in expected run count between the two events? An early version of the schedule said "we MUST be finished by 4pm" for Saturday and that Sunday was a "collaboration with Corvettes Unlimited"

Since both days are practice days I would expect a pretty similar number of runs on both days.  The collaboration with the Corvettes Unlimited Club of Calgary is not going to impact the format of the event, only the number of entrants and possibly it will impact the distribution of people into run groups slightly.

I wouldn't expect a difference in number of runs between the 2 days.  Typically we wrap up between 3:15 and 4:00 on a normal day so having to finish and clear the lot at 4pm does not change things much.  We have more cars Sunday (so far 3 more but that is likely to change) but slightly less time Saturday.  I think any difference in number of runs will be a result of how we run the event that day as opposed to the outside constraints placed on the event.

Does that answer your question or am I just rambling?

For some reason, MSR would not let me use the same car number for both days.  Obviously fixable at checkin time, but you might want to check the MSR settings.

And, yes, we are racing the S2000, even if the diff is a bit iffy.  AMA card for the win!

Murray - It looks like what happened is that one of the CUCC guys accidentally stole your number.  We're prefixing all of their numbers with a C and he was trying to take C5.  I have corrected his and your registration.

I'm still working to understand the MSR admin system but it looks like I can go in and assign permanent numbers to people.  I'm going to be using a combination of the list you were so kind as to prepare for me and this weekend's registrations to make a first pass of permanent numbers in MSR and see if that makes things easier for next time (i.e. it will prevent somebody from taking somebody else's number).

Don't worry about it -- Jo and I aren't people that obsess about our numbers.  We can turn our number magnets upside down for 510 and 501 if you want.  Or use masking tape.  It's not a big deal.

It's no problem at all - the CUCC guys are all going to be prefixing their numbers for the event and running in one group anyway so it's of no consequence that I changed him to be registered as "C5" instead of "5" because that's what he is going into the results as :)

Besides putting numbers on upside-down may be bad luck and you don't need any more bad luck.
