I would be most grateful if I could get some advice on how to class my Mini, (fully stripped race car) and would the classification change if it ran on slicks?

I think you are in a slick class regardless, G-prepared or Dmod I believe.

I don't know much about Mini's, but I think there is a good chance your engine is not GP legal.  I also think the car is likely too light for Emod, unless you are a very large man...

Is this a car you are planning on running or selling?  Looks fast and fun.

Sure looks like a DM (D Mod) car (modified  Production  and  GT  cars  with  internal  combustion  engine  dis-
placement 2000 cc and under).  Your minimum weight (with you in it) is 1280 lbs.

Thanks guys. I am planning on selling the car, but until I can re-leave someone of the cash I will run the car this year. I plan on coming down to FM a few times this year including the Nationals.

Its not totally suitable for Solo 2, but its a hoot to drive. You don't know what torque steer is until you've driven this. It would lap a GTR at Stratotech in 15 laps. The big problem is the 62 year old nut behind the wheel.

D Mod it is.

Slicks are fine in any modified class.
