I am correct in assuming that the club offers on the day registration? The end of April events sounds good, but I think I will wait and see what the weather does before I commit.

We are pretty relaxed about car numbers.  So long as your number is unique for that day, all is good.  Members have long running numbers (e.g. I am number 5 or 105, Reijo is 32, etc.), but it's not written in stone.

What number did you want?

So who has the list of available numbers ?

Nobody.  CSCC's computer has some of them, and SASC's computer has some.  As official scoring dude, I could scrape last year's result data and put together a definitive list of names+numbers.  I can't be bothered to spend the time, since it is all pretty pointless.  At every event someone wants a number that isn't what the computer assigns them (or remembers as being theirs).  If it's free that day, then they can have it.  My software is able to deal with people changing numbers between events.

I was asking what number you wanted, because we can tell you if it the the number is known to be one used regularly by someone else (e.g. they have custom door magnets or cling film made).

On the CSCC forum we have a loose list of numbers people have requested but as Murray has mentioned, we are pretty easy going at events.

either 7, 21, 14

Any of those is going to be an issue at some events.  These numbers have been used by members for years, and thus are "owned".

14 (Tom M) will probably be available at Red Deer events, and 21 (Eric E) will probably be available at Fort Macleod events, so if you can choose on the morning of the event, it will probably work out.  If not, a bit of masking tape will provide an appropriate fix.

8 is probably free, since I believe Scott A is still living in Moosamin, Saskatchewan.  However, be aware that a CSCC or SASC member will have priority if they decide to ask for a number in the 1-99 range.

No problem.  Don't forget to send Stuart a PM and give him your details:
