Airdrie event schedule changed
« on: August 22, 2019, 03:35:58 PM »
I don't know what the original schedule was, but apparently it's changed, so posting here in case anyone was going off the previous schedule.

Quote
8:00am – Gates Open and Course Setup

9:00am – On-Site Mandatory Check-In (with timing vehicle) & Vehicle Tech Inspection Close
9:15am – Guided Course Walk (aka Rookie Course Walk)
9:40am – Mandatory Drivers Meeting
10:00am – Timed Runs Begin
~4:00pm – Timed Runs Finish, Takedown & Cleanup
6:00pm – Everything must be off-site, Runway Now Active
*Schedule may change slightly

Thanks for posting this guys.

We were fortunate to be able to get an early start than the previous Airdrie events, so this event will start on our more typical schedule. Remember to be on-site early enough to complete Check-in and Tech prior to the 9:00am cut off. The MSreg event page has been updated to reflect this as well. See you all on Sunday!

Since we had someone ask for clarification, yes, spectators are welcome at the Airdrie events. We will have someone working at the main gate from 8am-9am, and continuous from 10am-5:30ish. As long as they sign the waiver (and parental waivers for minors), they are welcome to drive onto the runway and park in the paddock area to spectate or participate in ride alongs. They can also leave as they wish. Please remind them to respect the speed limit on site, and to drive respectfully around and near the venue. Thanks :)

I thought the gate was closed so you can't leave with a vehicle?   However there is a man-door if you leave your vehicle outside the gate?

That was only the first event when we didn’t have a remote door opener available to us.
